“…Of the 58 articles, 10 were case series, resulting in 84 SpK cases for analysis (Table 1). The individual cases were published in the USA (32), 1,3,8,9,12,16,18,20,24,[30][31][32][33][34]37,45,47,49,53 Spain (12), 14,22,23,26,28,29,36,39,50,54,58 Saudi Arabia (7), 10 Italy (6), 2,13,19,46,55 Japan (6), 11,21,25,40,52 Brazil (4), 5,42 United Kingdom (3), 41,57 Australia…”

Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC). Method Participants (SAD n = 58; HC n = 16) underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during which they completed a 90s control anticipation task and 90s speech anticipation task.

“…Friedmann comenta en 1988 que aún era necesaria una clasificación adecuada para estos casos [29]. El autor diferencia clínicamente las lesiones acuminadas, de tipo "caja musical", y las lesiones deprimidas, denominadas pits.…”

“…There are no significant changes in the epidermis surrounding the spines, and the superficial dermis may show a slight mononuclear cell infiltrate. Several studies have shown different electron microscopy results [13, 19, 34]. …”

“…Many authors have pointed out that such keratinocyte changes do not exist under the cornoid lamella-like spines of SH[15, 19, 20, 22, 27, 33, 34]. Therefore, the labeling of SH as porokeratotic in some of the reports is misleading [2, 13, 16, 19, 26, 44]. It is important to differentiate SH from porokeratosis because the latter, unlike SH, is premalignant.…”
