“…Sarcoidosis is a multisystem disease in which cutaneous lesions are observed in about 25% of patients, typical changes being erythema nodosum, lupus pernio, chronic plaques and subcutaneous nodules; 3 rarely it may produce an ulcerated 4 or verrucose 5 form. Further, an asymptomatic generalized maculopapular eruption which has the histopathological changes of sarcoid has been reported in the literature, 6 tending to be symmetrical and commonly affecting the face, particularly its orifices, the trunk, the dorsum of the extremities and the nuchal area. The lesions are rarely pruritic and may be accompanied by uveitis or early chest radiographic findings.…”
