This study presents the results of experimental research with the use of 3D resources. Unlike the creation and printing of physical objects, that can serve as an interface for 3D devices. The creation of solutions for the internet of things requires, besides the knowledge of programming, electronics, internet, and computing, also requires the creation of parts, which are often complex, for coupling and manipulation of devices to the internet of things. Personal experience during computer classes was the main motivation for the development of this work, demonstrating how to create solutions that can meet the different projects that involve the internet of things. In addition to presenting the results of a comparison between some tools evaluated during the research. The results were collected during the creation of the objects in 3D systems, besides presenting the results in pieces that were printed with this technology, these results demonstrated the possibility of creating viable solutions, and that can serve as a model for new projects, facilitating the development of solutions to the internet of things.

IoT applications appear in many areas due to their flexible structures and many advantages they provide. The increase in IoT applications brings many security vulnerabilities. In order to close these security gaps and ensure the security of the created system, some measures should be taken by combining existing technologies with new technologies. In this study, a method that uses various security technologies together is proposed to ensure the security of the IoT application network. Accordingly, 802.1x technology was used to connect wireless sensor devices to a Wi-Fi network. Thus, in the first step, unauthorized users are not allowed to connect to this network. In the second step, IoT data was collected on a central server, and this server was taken to the DMZ zone in the firewall. Thus, access to the server is both restricted, and server access is logged. In the last step, with SSL-VPN configured in the firewall, data can be safely monitored from the external environment. The biggest advantages of the proposed approach are that it can be used easily in existing Wi-Fi networks, provides communication security, and is low cost. A wearable system/device capable to track key COVID-19 symptoms is presented. Off-the-shelf hardware and software components as simple sensors, general purpose microcontroller, and gadget like mobile devices and peripheries are used to detect and monitor body temperature, heart rate, respiration rate and other vital signs, which are important to alert patients and remote medical staff about unusual symptoms correlated to COVID-19 or similar diseases. The basic idea about measuring principle, system integration, digital signal processing and networking is presented and accompanied with preliminary testing results. The principle is not just simple and low cost, based on the components we use every day, but very immune to noise and artifacts.
