Methodology. Mathematical modeling methods and a systematic approach were used to formalize the object of study. Simula tion modeling techniques were used to develop the model of the research object. In order to determine the dependence of the ef ficiency criterion of transport node operation on the parameters of material flows and numerical characteristics of production re sources, regression analysis methods were applied.findings. Based on the study, it is proposed to use a specific measure of efficiency, which is the ratio of profit from customer service at the transport hub to the cost of production resources involved in the process of service. On the basis of the developed model of the transport node, it is possible to solve the aimed tasks for the improvement of logistic management and processing of products of mining enterprises at transport hubs.originality. An approach to improvement of logistic management of transport hubs at the expense of substantiation of optimal parameters of production resources and selection of the most effective version of technological process of customer service is of fered.Practical value. It consists in the development of approaches to determining the most effective version of servicing material flows, as well as to determining the optimal numerical characteristics of production resources of a transport node.

Purpose. To ensure the effective functioning of the area for diagnosis and repair of tractive electric vehicle (EV) battery by determining the technical and economic indicators of the production capacity of the enterprise. Methodology. Modelling the process of repairing section of the EV traction battery is performed using the main principles of the queuing system, the graph theory. While calculating the probabilitytime characteristics and determining the production ca pacity of the site, the methods of mathematical statistics and probability theory were involved. findings. With the use of systematic approach, the EV market in Ukraine and the dynamics of the demand over the past three years have been studied. There was collected and analyzed information about issues related to the EV operation, and the most common ones were identified. Empirically, there was obtained an estimate for the duration of the process of repairing and replac ing the EV traction battery, as well as the cost of basic operations. The battery repair section of the traction battery is represented as a multichannel queuing system, assuming that the flow of applications for diagnosing and repair is Poisson's flow, and the ran dom process is Markovian. The problem of rational organization of the EV traction battery repair site has been solved by determin ing the minimum number of repair posts, at which the queue will not grow indefinitely (if customers can wait for their service for a long time and do not leave the queue). The number of repair posts was estimated for the traction battery, which in the existing conditions will allow organizing technical customer service effectively, minimizing the total economic losses from downtime of process equipment and refusals of applications for repairs. originality. The use of models and methods of the queuing system for the calculation of technical and economic indicators of the production capacity of the traction battery repair section allowed taking into account the stochastic nature of the needs for repaire, and determining the optimal values of those characteristics that ensure the efficient performance of the EV repair section. Practical value. The proposed method for determining the production capacity of the repair section of traction battery is used in solving problems related to the selection and rational placement of technological equipment when designing or upgrading a workshop.

Purpose. To develop mathematical models and techniques to model stepless transmissions operating as a part of a diesel loco motive, to improve reliability of the results of diesel locomotive movement under actual operating conditions. Methodology. Values of kinematic parameters, power parameters, and energy parameters are identified with the help of solving a system of algebraic equations by Simulink subsystem of Matlab system. Integrated study of changes in basic transmission param eters of "input differential" and "output differential" in terms of its operation within both transport and traction ranges is necessary to determine the initial data to model braking process of a mine diesel locomotive. findings. The paper has performed comparative analysis of "input differential" and "output differential" hydrostatic me chanical transmissions (HMTs) by means of integrated study of changes in power parameters, kinematic parameters, and energy parameters of the transmissions in terms of traction and transport ranges of motion of a mine diesel locomotive. Values of these parameters are determined by means of solving the system of algebraic equations being considered as the development of a set of mathematical models and techniques to model stepless transmissions operating as a part of a mine diesel locomotive. originality. The obtained results of integrated study of changes in power, kinematic and energy parameters of "input differen tial" and "output differential" HMTs in terms of their operation within both transport and traction ranges indicate that each transmission has its own strengths and weaknesses. That is why the both HMTs will be used in future while analyzing a braking process of a mine diesel locomotive. Practical value. The developed structural transmission scheme, mathematical model explaining changes in kinematic param eters and power ones, determined kinematic, power parameters and efficiency of hydrostatic drive in future can be applied as the initial data to model a braking process of a mine diesel locomotive.
