Products containing microorganisms as a tool in integrated pest management and the rules of their market placement in the European Union

Abstract: Products containing microorganisms (bacteria, fungi and viruses) can be used in plant production as an intervention as well as a prevention method for pest control. Their utilisation is strictly in line with the principles of integrated pest management, provided that they are effective and safe.
