Abstract: SYNOPSISSmall outliers of conglomerate and sandstone occur on the N Sutherland coast at Kirtomy, Tongue and on the Roan Islands.At Kirtomy sediment has infilled three N-S trending-valleys cut into the Moine metasediments.
