Abstract: In distributed computing, data sharing is inevitable, however, moving local databases from one site to another should be avoided because of the computational overhead and privacy consideration. Most of the data mining algorithms are designed assuming that data repository is stored locally. This paper presents a scheme and algorithms for mining association rules in geographically distributed data. The proposed scheme preserves data privacy of the different geographical site by passing secure messages between th… Show more

“…Some data mining projects may require data from multiple sites. In order to enable shared access to the healthcare record, data integration is necessary [7]. The obstacle we are dealing with is, the selection of essential data from these geographically distributed systems, without moving databases.…”

“…When using binary attributes, the aim is to find the existence or absence of a heart disease. Recently, privacy preserving techniques for horizontally and vertically distributed systems, were established on a star topology where an agent is required [7], [13]- [17]. Every facility distributed data with an untrusted third party-central agent.…”

“…Here, Statlog UCI ML-based heart dataset is used for predicting (hypertension and Type-II diabetes) to measure the performance of the anticipated model. Some researchers concentrate on modelling IoT-based mobile applications for the healthcare system to offer superior proficiency over disease prediction and their suitable way for validating the present health condition via the mobile applications [13,14]. But, this work does not perform any form of mobile-based analysis to reduce the preliminary complexity [15].…”
