Primary peritoneal serous carcinoma with signet ring cells

Abstract: ► The case is unique as the signet ring-like tumor cells in the ascites occur in primary peritoneal serous tumors. ► The tumor cells may have degenerated, which led to the formation of cytoplasmic vacuoles and resembled signet ring-like cells.
