Prevalence of iron deficiency anemia among adolescent schoolgirls from Kermanshah, Western Iran

Abstract: Iron deficiency anemia is a major health problem in developing countries. Anemia reduces physical work capacity and cognitive function and adversely affects learning and scholastic performance in schoolgirls entering adolescence.
