Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC). Method Participants (SAD n = 58; HC n = 16) underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during which they completed a 90s control anticipation task and 90s speech anticipation task.

“…Barriers to GLD use in migrants can stem from the healthcare system, the clinician and the patient. Healthcare policies affecting patient‐incurred costs are major determinants of pharmacological treatment accessibility 43,44 . In the Danish universal healthcare system, annual drug expenditure is partially covered from €132 and fully covered from €553 (2019 limits).…”

While patients with higher medication expenses will incur similar costs, regardless of the number or types of GLD used, patients treated with fewer, less expensive drugs will receive only limited coverage, and may perceive costs as a barrier to using newer, more expensive GLD types.…”

“…The monthly data demonstrate seasonality, mainly due to variation induced by annual PBS deadlines for the safety net threshold. 9,11,20,21 Major changes in co-payment might also have significant impact upon the pattern of utilisation, with one major shift occurring at the end of the time period of interest (in January 2005 the co-payment changed by 21% from AU$23.70 to AU$28.60).…”
