Preparation of Si/C/Al/N ceramics by pyrolysis of polyaluminasilazanes

Abstract: Polyaluminasilazanes were prepared quantitatively by reaction of oligosilazanes (RSi(H)NH) n (R = Me, Et) with various amounts of either trimethylaluminum, (CH3)3Al, or dimethylaluminum amide, (CH3)2AlNH2. The products were characterized by 1H, 29Si and 27Al NMR and IR spectroscopy. Alkylation of the SiH groups was observed when trimethylaluminum was used. Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
