This broad peak is a composite of two peaks—1125 and 1025 cm −1 —probably attributable to T 2 and T 3 units, which occur at 1132 and 1078 cm −1 in the reported IR spectra of poly(methylsilsesquioxane) 9. The presence of the butyl group of organostannyl units was confirmed by the absorption at around 2900 cm −1 as a result of the methylene and methyl groups.…”
