Practice of Breast Self-Examination and Associated Factors Among Female Nurses of Hawassa University Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, South Ethiopia, 2018

Abstract: Background: Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and it is the leading cause of cancer related death worldwide. Despite most of the cases found at developed countries, majority of death occur in low income countries including Ethiopia. Routine breast self-examination is important for early detection to augment prevention of breast cancer by 50% and reduce premature death of women.
