Porencephalic cyst due to encephalomacia with neuropsychiatric symptoms and epilepsy: a case report

Abstract: Porencephaly is a rare pathology and is commonly due to an encephalomalacia lesion. Both have two types: congenital or acquired, causing neurological symptoms and/or disorders such as epilepsy, intellectual disability, cognitive difficulties or impairment, and depressive-type neuropsychiatric symptoms, irritability, behavioral changes, and psychosis.
