Plexiform neurofibroma of the submandibular gland

Abstract: A rare plexiform neurofibroma of the submandibular gland in a patient with neurofibromatosis is presented. The clinical manifestations of the disease are reviewed. The need for early diagnosis of neurofibroma is emphasized because of malignant transformation.
