“…Similarly, plasma testosterone estimations were studied in 30 male homosexuals by Kolodny et al (1971), who compared them with a control group of 50 heterosexuals and demonstrated that the homosexual testosterone levels were not only significantly lower than those of the controls but also correlated with the Kinsey rating (KR) (Kinsey et al 1948). In contrast, Doerr et al (1973) found no difference in plasma testosterone levels between homosexuals and 2 control groups while Brodie et al (1974) found significantly higher plasma testosterone levels in a group of 19 homosexuals compared with age matched heterosexual controls.…”
