Abstract:Tire recycling is becoming an increasingly important problem due to the growing number of end-of-life tires (ELTs). World-wide, ELTs account for more than 80 million tons. ELTs contribute to environmental pollution in the long term. They are flammable, toxic and non-biodegradable.
