Abstract: The potential output and the principal characteristics of the fracture of a working face by a cutting tool are established from electrical measurements of the consumable power, accompanied by determination of the rates of advance. Such investigations enable one to verify that the face-fracture parameters ate soundly-based and also to establish the output of a machine in rocks with various properties.
