“…Rise in globulin is in line with El-Sayed et al 2013who reported significantly (P<0.05) improved serum globulin level in broiler chicks that fed food added with 0.5% of both guava leaves and olive oil. In the present study, decrease serum ALT and AST agrees with Okukpe et al (2011) who reported that omega3 fatty acids in food reduced the AST& ALT level. “…In the same way average daily gain of ram lambs between different periods during the experiment is clear from the results that the lambs treated with fish oil had higher daily growth rates than the control group (Table 4). The significant increase in average daily gain could be due to improving the ability to use nutrients from food and convert them into muscle protein and hence improving daily weight gain (Okukpe et al, 2011). The present results are in agreement with Nurlatifah et al (2020) who found a significant increase (P≤0.05) in average daily gain by feeding oils to sheep diets.…”
