“…The study results also revealed that the average diet of adult and elderly populations mostly does not differ from dietary guidelines for energy intake. However, it should be noted that we used a low physical activity level (PAL 1.4), that describes sedentary lifestyle with moderate activity, as a general reference for total energy expenditure [43]. According to our findings, a certain proportion of the population has moderate or even high physical activity levels, and energy intake might be inadequate for these subgroups of individuals.…”
