Abstract: We measured the phase relaxation time T 2 of CdSSe microcrystallites embedded in glasses at temperatures below 70 K with the size of CdSSe microcrystallites between 3 and 19 nm by using the technique of degenerate four-wave mixing. The homogeneous width  (  1/T 2) was proportional to the absolute temperature T (AT     0).
