Briefly, rosetted cells were fixed for 30 min with glutaraldehyde I.5% in 0.1 M phosphate buffer pH 7.4, at20" C. The samples were stained with uranyl acetate (0.5%) and dehydrated in graded concentrations of ethanol before embedding in Epon LX LLz.…”

Monoclonal antibodies in bladder cancer cytology

Their reactivity has been evaluated by the present authors [2] and by other groups [10] in > 150 specimens. The epitope recognized by these antibodies is preferentially expressed on high-stage, highgrade, and aneuploid tumors; 80°70 of invasive or grade III tumors are stained as compared with 20% of lowgrade, noninvasive tumors.…”
