“…Only approximate single‐exponential luminescence decay curves are obtained. Hence, the lifetimes characterized by decay lifetime τ can be deduced by the following formula:τ=tIfalse(tfalse)normaldtfalse/I(t)dtwhere I ( t ) represents the function of luminescence intensity on the time t is the peak intensity in the decay curve. The average lifetimes of Eu 3+ ( 5 D 0 → 7 F 2 ) are about 1.28 and 2.04 ms for precursor glass and glass‐ceramics, respectively.…”

“…6(c) . Here, only approximate single-exponential luminescence decay curves are obtained, and the average lifetimes of 5 D 4 state are about 299.46 μs, 366.38 μs, 426.23 μs and 581.26 μs for SABTm-1, SABTm-2, SABTm-3 and SABTm-4 glass-ceramics respectively 39 . It is noticed that the lifetime of 5 D 4 state becomes longer, so that it can be proved that the energy transfer from Tm 3+ to Tb 3+ is indeed existent.…”

“…Rare-earth ions in different polymorphic structures will bring about particularly interesting luminescence phenomena. Therefore, the inuence of the polymorphism transition on the luminescence properties of rare-earth ions has attracted attention from scholars, such as Gao changed the content ratio of ZnO/Na 2 O in the Tb 3+ -Yb 3+ co-doped NaYF 4 nanocrystal-containing zinc uoride hydroxide glass ceramics to achieve the cubic to hexagonal form transition and the enhancement of up-conversion luminescence; 31 Janjua prepared ultrane pure hexagonal NaYF 4 by the solvothermal method: the up-conversion luminescence intensity of hexagonal NaYF 4 : Er 3+ , Yb 3+ is 10 times than cubic nanocrystals of the same size. 32 For cryolite, the most common crystal structures are monoclinic and cubic, and in different crystal form, the upconversion luminescence properties of cryolite materials maybe different.…”
