Abstract: Resumo A sucessão é um dos maiores desafios para as empresas familiares. Assim, o objetivo geral da pesquisa foi descrever e analisar elementos envolvidos na preparação de sucessores. “…Family succession is vital for the survival of rural enterprises in Brazil's southern region and lacks further studies, as young people residing in rural properties are opting to migrate to urban centers (Matte, Spanevello, Lago & Andreatta, 2019).
