Abstract: The use of switched-beam antennas for Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) has gained a lot of attention recently. However, it has not been concluded yet which protocol is suitable for this approach. One interesting protocol named as Synchronous Collision Resolution (SCR) has been proposed to manage the packet schedule between mesh routers.
