Perceived fit between green IS and green SCM: Does it matter?

Abstract: From a task-technology fit perspective, green SCM and green IS are likely to have synergistic effects on corporate sustainability. Yet, the exact mechanisms through which their perceived alignment by employees may exert influences on organizational performances are unclear. This study captures potential enablement and coverage routes at different development stages of sustainability with fit-as-mediation and fit-as-moderation, respectively. The results based on the observations collected from more than 400 org… Show more

“…In addition to the traditional approach, this study used the second-smallest positive correlation among the manifest variables as a conservative estimate of CMB. As this method is not based on particular measurement theories, it has been used recently by researchers (Durcikova, Lee, & Brown, 2018;Leonidou, Christodoulides, Kyrgidou, & Palihawadana, 2017;Yang, Sun, Zhang, & Wang, 2019). In this study, the second-smallest positive correlation was 0.005, which was used to adjust the correlations among all manifest variables in the research model.…”

“…The relationship between green supply chain management and green innovation is the interaction between stakeholders involved in the company's supply chain which can establish green innovation to face the pressure from external factors, such as the government and regulators. Green supply chain management and green innovation in their mechanism have a synergistic relationship, in which there is a significant and positive effect of green supply chain management on green innovation (Abu Seman et al, 2019;Yang, Sun, Zhang & Wang, 2019). This shows that the company implements green supply chain management as the main driving factor in green innovation.…”

“…Based on the same idea, M. J. theorized "use context" as a mediator of the relationship between motivators (enjoyment, mobility, time saving, and value) on consumer satisfaction. Similarly, Yang et al (2019) examined fit as a mediator of the relationship between green supply chain management and green information system. In the context of this study, fit as a mediation perspective suggests that PJ acts as an enabling route (Yang et al, 2019) between TL and OC.…”

In the context of this study, fit as a mediation perspective suggests that PJ acts as an enabling route (Yang et al, 2019) between TL and OC. It means that employees' perceptions of PJ play an important role in providing fit between TL and OC.…”
