This research aims to determine the picture of teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 1 Cirebon City. Teacher professionalism requires individual development and organizational development. One of the individual developments is carrying out professional teacher education and training. This improvement requires teacher expertise in educating and teaching students with various approaches and learning models. The research used quantitative descriptive analysis methods on 16 teachers as respondents at SMA Negeri 1 Cirebon City and interviews to ensure the validity of the instrument answers distributed through the survey. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and survey instruments. The results of the research show that the development of teacher professionalism has four aspects, namely: the development of teacher professionalism for 16 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Cirebon City has four aspects, namely: (1) expertise, including (a) mastery of the material ( 37.5% ) ( b) class mastery (31.255%), and (c) pedagogical mastery (31.25%), (2) sources of income, including: (a) meeting basic family needs (62%), (b) being able to share with others (25%), and (c) not lacking financially (12.5%), (3) improving quality, including: (a) increasing student achievement (50%), (b) increasing school achievement (31.25% ), and (c) increasing personal achievement (18.75%), and (4) code of ethics, including (a) maintaining integrity (100%), (b) honesty (100%), (c) discipline (100 %), and (d) responsible (100%). Teacher professionalism development must be carried out periodically and continuously.

The low ability of students to understand reading and the low level of student activity in the learning process is influenced by a lack of design innovation, learning processes, and a lack of strengthening literacy for students. This research aims to analyze the project-based learning model assisted by visual media on the reading comprehension ability and active learning of Indonesian language students in grade II elementary school.. This pseudo-experimental research is designed by a single factor independent group design. The population in this study was 297 students with a total of 62 students as a sample determined by random sampling technique. Data were collected by tests of reading comprehension and observation of student learning activity. Then, the data was analyzed using the MANOVA technique. The results showed that there were differences in reading comprehension and learning activity simultaneously among students who participated in the project based learning model assisted by visual media with conventional learning. This means that the project based learning model with the novelty of visual media has an effect on reading comprehension and active learning of second grade elementary school students. The research results can be used as a reference in making learning designs more innovative.

Based on the background, the learning model that is often used in class VIII of Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam Private Middle School still tend to use conventional learning models or lecture methods and only apply His mathematical formulas, resulting in student responses being less enthusiastic and less active whenever Science-Physics learning takes place. So that, this study aims to determine the effect of the learning model Project Based learning on student learning outcomes in class VIII energy material at Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam Private Middle School. The method used in this research isLike an experiment with a population of all eighth grade students at Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam Private Middle School. The sample in this study consisted of 2 classes using the technique Purposive Sampling. The instrument used was a learning achievement test in the form of multiple choice item items of 20 questions. Before being given treatment to the sample, a pre-test was first carried out to find out whether the sample came from a normally distributed and homogeneous population. Then given treatment to both classes, namely by giving a test pretest and obtained an average score of 38.00 for the experimental class with a standard deviation of 16.01 and for the control class 40.00 with a standard deviation of 15.75. For the average score Posttest experimental class 77.40 with a standard deviation of 9.35 and control class 62.60 with a standard deviation of 11.00. Homogeneous value pretest to both classes (1.033 <1.983) Fcount smaller than Ftable and value posttest namely Fcount smaller than Ftable (1.379 <1.983), so it can be said that the value pretest and posttest to both samples is homogeneous. Furthermore, for the difference between the two classes, a one-sided t-test was carried out with a = 0.05 obtained (5.120)> (1.677) tcount bigger than ttable which states that there is a difference between the two classes. To see the magnitude of the influence of the model Project Based Learning on learning outcomes a simple regression test is carried out with the equation . So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the treatment of the learning modelProject Based Learning on student learning outcomes in class VIII energy material at Tri Sakti Lubuk Pakam Private Middle School
