Cassava is one of the food crops with continous increasing demand. This study aimed to investigate the response of vegetative cassava growth to the application of different concentrations and types of liquid organic fertilizers (LOF) from Leguminosae plants. The research was conducted from February 27 to June 27, 2022, in Kembanglimus Village, Borobudur District, and arranged factorially (4x3) using a Randomized Completely Block (RCB). The first factor was the type of liquid organic fertilizer derived from Leucaena leucocephala, Mimosa pudica, and Arachis hypogaea. The second factor was the concentration of LOF, consisting of 0 mL/L, 15 mL/L, 30 mL/L, and 45 mL/L. Chlorophyll content was analyzed using spectrophotometer and protein contet of leaf and tuber were analyzed with Kjeldahl methods. The results demonstrated that type of LOI did not have a significant effect on all parameters. Liquid organic fertilizer from Leguminosae plants with 0 mL/L concentration resulted in the highest number of roots. Type of liquid organic fertilizer from Leucaena leaf with a concentration of 24.95 mL/L gave the highest number of roots, while type of LOF of Mimosa pudica with a concentration of 26.31 mL/L gave the highest number of branches. Type of liquid organic fertilizer of Arachis hypogaea with a concentration of 45 mL/L resulted in the highest total chlorophyll content, leaf protein content, and protein content in the tubers

Gayo shallot (Allium cepa L.) is a local shallot cultivar from Central Aceh province that has just received a national superior shallot variety certificate. The objective of this study was to scientifically determine the superiority of Gayo shallots compared to other national superior varieties based on morphological characters, production, and quality of tubers. The study was conducted from July to December 2020. The field study was carried out in Lut Tawar Sub-district, Central Aceh Regency, while laboratory analysis was conducted at the Agroecotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Malikussaleh. This research used a single-factor randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. The treatments consisted of three varieties: local shallots Gayo, Batu Ijo, and Tajuk. Each unit treatment consisted of 5 plants, resulting in a total of 165 plants. The results showed that Gayo shallots' growth and performance differed from Batu Ijo and Tajuk. The height and number of leaves per clump of Gayo and Tajuk shallot plants were not significantly different. Gayo shallot plant height was 28.50 cm and Tajuk was 28.30 cm, and the number of leaves per Gayo shallot's clump reached 17.80 and Tajuk 15.50, while Batu Ijo's height was 36.05 cm and the number of leaves per clump was 28.10 at 8 weeks after planting (WAP). Batu Ijo had better growth and yield of tubers than Gayo and Tajuk shallots. Regarding similarity, the physical appearance of plants and tuber yields from Gayo was more similar to Tajuk (67%) compared to Batu Ijo (57%).

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh, interaksi serta dosis dan konsentrasi terbaik kasgot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) dan Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) akar bambu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) varietas tajuk. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Bulan Februari sampai Juni 2023 yang berlokasi di SMK PPN Gorontalo, Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu, Kasgot Black Soldier Fly (K) dengan 4 taraf yaitu K0 = Kontrol, K1 = 200 g/polybag, K2= 300 g/polybag, K3= 400 g/polybag dan faktor kedua PGPR akar bambu (P) dengan 4 taraf yaitu P0 = (kontrol), P1 = 20 ml/liter air, P2 = 30 ml/liter air, P3 = 40 ml/liter air. Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, bobot umbi basah, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi dan bobot umbi kering. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis of varians (ANOVA α = 5%) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT dengan taraf 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi kasgot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, bobot umbi basah, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi dan bobot umbi kering tanaman bawang merah. Sedangkan PGPR akar bambu berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun. Terdapat interaksi antar kedua perlakuan pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter umbi dimana kombinasi terbaik terdapat pada pemberian kasgot 400 gram/polybag + PGPR 30 ml/liter air. Dosis kasgot yang sesuai ada pada perlakuan 400 gram/polybag dan konsentrasi PGPR yang sesuai yaitu 40 ml/liter air. Kata kunci: Kasgot Black Soldier Fly (BSF), Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) Akar Bambu, Varietas Tajuk.
