This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tegalombo, geography subjects, material about the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia and the world through the application of problem-based learning models. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in which there are four stages, namely (1) planning; (2) implementation; (3) observation; and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS 2 for the 2021/2022 academic year, which consisted of 28 students. While the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests and data were analyzed descriptively. After conducting the research, student learning outcomes increased from cycle I. In cycle II, the average student test score was 73.21 and the percentage of complete student learning outcomes reached 89.29% of students achieving grades ?65. Thus, the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tegalombo in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tegalombo, mata pelajaran geografi, materi persebaran flora fauna di Indonesia dan dunia melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problerm based learning. Bentuk penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang di dalamnya terdapat empat tahapan yaitu (1) perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan; (3) pengamatan; dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi,, wawancara, tes dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I. Pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata nilai test siswa 73,21 dan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 89,29% siswa mencapai nilai ?65. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tegalombo semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.
