Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the synthesis of education in the interpretation of thematic studies of terms containing educational connotations. This article is the result of a literary study (literature) about terms that connotes education in al-Qur'an and al-Sunnah, namely tarbiyah, taklim, tadris, ta'dib and tazkiyah.
