Patient‐specific finite element analysis of chronic contact stress exposure after intraarticular fracture of the tibial plafond

Abstract: The role of altered contact mechanics in the pathogenesis of posttraumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA) following intraarticular fracture remains poorly understood.
