Path Selection using Fuzzy Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment

Abstract: The search for safe evacuation routes is an important issue to save flood victims so they can reach the evacuation centre. This research is a simulation of searching for safe and fast travel evacuation route that have 24 alternative routes. Every road that will be transverse has a limit with certain criteria. Calculate of the weight of the constraints using the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) andWeight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) based … Show more

“…In the literature, instead of the classic MCDM methods, a hybrid approach which consists of Fuzzy AHP-WASPAS methodologies is also applied using many extensions of the fuzzy sets such as triangular fuzzy numbers [76,[85][86][87], spherical fuzzy numbers [88][89][90].…”

“…The Fuzzy AHP model can be used to assess the flood risk [46,47]. Several studies using the Fuzzy AHP method combined with GIS were used to evaluate flood risk [49,50]. Fuzzy AHP adaptation is used to weight the attributes and sub-attributes of criteria in measuring flood resistance (Composite Flood Resilient Index) [51] and the use of Fuzzy AHP to determine the selection of alternative flood control by taking economic, social, and environmental considerations into account [11,52].…”

“…However, the strategies above are applied considering situations where no initial information about the exploration environment is known in advance, and the robot is tasked to cover most of the exploration space. Yet, considering some real-world scenarios (e.g., search and rescue missions or evacuation route planning (Chandrawati, Ratna & Sari, 2020)), it is very likely that robot operators can gather a-priori information about the environment and utilise it to direct the exploration process accordingly (Calisi et al, 2007;Roa-Borbolla, 2017). Thus, in this research, a novel approach to frontier assessment and decision-making problem for an autonomous exploring robot is proposed.…”
