“…It is monoclinic with space group P2/c , a = 4.597 Å, b = 5.684 Å, c = 4.913 Å, and β = 89.39° . An attempt to measure the Raman scattering from this phase led to the sample degradation and the formation of V 2 O 5 …”

“…46 VO 2 nanoparticles of ∼25, 32, and 45 nm do not show intersections in Figure 4f, benefiting from the sufficiently small VO 2 nanoparticles. 15 It is believed that the local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of the metallic R-phase VO 2 enhances visible light absorption if the particle size is small enough, 20,39 leading to a positive ΔT lum .…”

“…The oxygen partial pressure in autoclaves is normally set lower to prevent the formation of high-valence V 5+ ions. Therefore, oxygen-deficient VO 2 (M) is usually obtained. , …”

“…This observed reduction in crystallite size is attributed to the increase in grain boundaries in the crystal structure [49,50]. On the other hand, the increase and decrease in the crystallite size of vanadium oxide nanostructures is explained by the phase transition in the vanadium oxide nanostructures [51].…”
