Abstract: Endoparasitic diseases cause great economic losses, mainly due to the anemias they can cause. This research evaluated the occurrence of gastrointestinal parasites in meat-type sheep of six small gaucho properties. Fecal samples were received at the Helminthology Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary, UFRGS, Porto Alegre, RS, and processed by the methods of Gordon & Whitlock (OPG) and Roberts & O’Sullivan (coproculture).
