Paraphrenia: Evolution of the Concept

Abstract: Paraphrenia was identified as a psychopathological entity characterized by chronic delirium, described next to schizophrenia, but with rich and fanciful elaborations, without social and cognitive impairment associated. Despite having been extensively described, paraphrenia fell into disuse.
