Abstract: Abstract:The present study is an attempt to apply the concept of plant and pollen indicators to habitat conditions in different soil strata at archaeological site (Lake Qarun). It revealed a great palaeoenvironmental information's about habitat changing of Lake Qarun from a humid and wet conditions during the Hellenic Period to reed swampy early Roman, to Nile Flooding middle Roman, to mesophytic habitats Late Roman, also changing to halophytic and salt marshes with presence of Chenopodiaceae at recent time. …
