Painting CROSS TCA technique: Modification of the CROSS method for the treatment of atrophic acne scars—Case series

Abstract: Background The Chemical Reconstruction of Skin Scars (CROSS) technique was first described in 2002 and has since demonstrated safety and efficacy in multiple studies. We describe the treatment of six patients with a modified version of the CROSS method—the Painting CROSS trichloroacetic acid (TCA) technique.
