Abstract:Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a severe form of erythema multiforme with or without bullous lesions. This is a potentially life-threatening condition that has traditionally required hospitalization for optimal management. We report the successful management of four patients who developed this syndrome following administration of antimicrobial agents. In our experience, for individuals with mild to moderate disease, Stevens-Johnson syndrome can be managed with corticosteroids as an outpatient.
