Organic farming in India: A brief review

Abstract: Various food crops are produced in India, including cereals, pulses, and oilseeds. The biggest challenge in India since Independence has been supplying enough food for the growing population. Therefore, highyielding varieties are cultivated with irrigation water, fertilizers, or pesticides.
