The object of the study is the IOT system for monitoring the state of objects. The problem being solved is the development of an innovative method of detecting and correcting data transmission errors in the networks of Internet of Things systems. The essence of the results is that a method of detecting and correcting multiple transmission errors during byte-by-byte transmission of a block of information has been developed. The method is distinguished by an original coding scheme, which involves the calculation of control bits, as well as the shuffling of block bits by performing bit shift operations. The peculiarity of the method is that any bit can be distorted when transmitting a code word, but it belongs to different code combinations of the Hamming code. This allows multiple data transmission errors to be detected and corrected during decoding, and multiple errors of different bytes belonging to the same block can be corrected. Simple algorithms for encoding and decoding procedures have been developed, and programs for information block encoding procedures and decoding procedures with error detection and correction have been developed. A software model of the data transmission channel was also developed with the possibility of introducing multiple errors when simulating the data transmission process. All programs are developed in Python, although other languages are possible. An experiment was conducted using the developed software model of the data transmission channel. The efficiency of the developed method has been experimentally confirmed and it has been proven that its use increases the immunity of the data transmission channel. This is due to the fact that the developed method allows detecting and correcting all code word transmission errors with a multiplicity from 1 to 8, which was confirmed experimentally. With the evolution of applications, the implementation of processing algorithms has become more difficult due to the requirements in terms of throughput and complexity, which make the existing coding/decoding architectures unsuitable due to their insufficient computing capacity. Our objective in this paper is to analyze/study the integration of error-correcting codes into a functional digital architecture based on the inverse discrete wavelet packet transform (IDWPT) in transmission, and the discrete wavelet packet transform (DWPT) in reception (known as discrete wavelet packet modulation). In our proposed architecture, we have exploited two transmission strategies: (i) one-to-many (OtM) for transmission between a single transmitter and multiple sensors, (ii) and a many-to-one (MtO) mode for transmission between multiple users and a single receiver. To improve the transmission quality with the same configuration, we have integrated corrective codes, in particular the different families of Reed Solomon and convolutional codes. This architecture offers a very high processing power and a versatility in terms of flexibility and configurability adapted to very noisy environments, especially industrial ones. The use of error-correcting codes improves the quality of the transmission compared to the state of the art. Where we have achieved a gain of 4 to 6dB for Reed Solomon coding and convolutional codes used individually, 5 to 10dB with the combination of these two codes and 2 to 4dB more for shortened Reed Solomon codes.

Error control coding improves reliability and efficiency of wireless communication systems. This research delves into the latest advancements in error control coding schemes for wireless communication systems, with a specific focus on their application within the domain of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) such as Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) systems, LoRa energy-efficient hardware design, random access control systems, and wireless sensor networks. In the context of LPWANs, particularly NB-IoT systems, we investigate the adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) in NB-IoT systems, which adapts coding rates and modulation techniques to changing channel circumstances. Comprehensive analysis of the literature review shows that the proposed approaches are more energy efficient and less errorprone than fixed coding and modulation schemes. Using Cell Design Methodology (CDM), Single Error Correction (SEC) codes are optimized for energy efficiency. Power and energy efficiency have improved in standard CMOS and CDM logic systems. This impacts IoT devices, memory storage, and security systems. Next, Forward Error Correction (FEC) is examined for ALOHA-based random-access control systems wherein packet loss rate and spectral efficiency metrics are mathematically calculated. FEC is beneficial, especially when time and frequency synchronization diverge. Monte Carlo simulations studied in the literature shows that FEC improves satellite communication systems. This review establishes benefits of FEC, notably in satellite communications systems. In addition, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) error control techniques and network reliability and performance are examined along with Convolutional, Turbo, Low density parity check codes(LDPC), and Polar error correction coding (ECC) methods. We learn about their benefits, drawbacks, and implementation challenges by assessing their efficacy, efficiency, and applicability in wireless sensor networks (WSN) applications. This study further highlights advancements of energy-efficient error control coding when, integrated into network designs alongwith the trade-offs between efficacy and intricacy to help improve wireless communication networks. Finally, this study summarizes current error control coding approaches for wireless communication systems. We provide insights into improving reliability, energy conservation, and efficacy by examining ACM, CDM, FEC, and error correction coding (ECC) across varied domains including LPWAN and IoT technologies with earnest hope to facilitate researchers, engineers, and professionals working in the field of error control coding in wireless communication.
