Online and Stable Learning of Analysis Operators

Abstract: In this paper four iterative algorithms for learning analysis operators are presented. They are built upon the same optimisation principle underlying both Analysis K-SVD and Analysis SimCO. The Forward and Sequential Analysis Operator Learning (FAOL and SAOL) algorithms are based on projected gradient descent with optimally chosen step size. The Implicit AOL (IAOL) algorithm is inspired by the implicit Euler scheme for solving ordinary differential equations and does not require to choose a step size. The four… Show more

“…the golden section rule, as used in [36] and [37]. Other possible directions of future work include extension of the SAD algorithm for noisy signal declipping, the employment of the dictionary pair learning (DPL) [52] for declipping, and comparisons with other analysis dictionary learning algorithms such as [53].…”

“…It has been studied for cosparse signal reconstruction in image processing especially for image denoising. For example, a geometric AOL algorithm using the Riemannian gradient descent has been proposed in Hawe et al 19 ; Yaghoobi et al 20 have presented a unit norm tight frame (UNTF)‐based AOL; and four AOL algorithms: forward, sequential, implicit, and singular value AOL, have been presented in Sandbichler and Schnass 21 …”

“…Films, TV dramas and other film and television art works not only penetrate into human life style and change human concept and consciousness, but also give birth to a new cultural form such as film and television literature [15]. e student-centered hybrid tutorial model can effectively integrate all kinds of teaching resources and teaching forms into the classroom [16].…”
