On the Potential for Viruses as Nano Microwave Transmitters

Abstract: In this paper, we report the potential use of airborne viruses as nano transmitters of mechanical and microwave signatures. Specifically, we treat the virion (virus particle) as a thin core-shell spherical structure with mechanical and electrical properties assigned and use Comsol Multiphysics to determine the mechanical natural modes of vibration.
