Abstract:BACKGROUND: Cheilitis is an inflammatory disease of the lips, its red border, mucous membranes, and skin. There are meteorological, actinic, hypo-, and avitaminosis cheilitis, according to medical indications. Classification of cheilitis includes many types of diseases and is somewhat conditional.
