Abstract: Since the pioneer work of Marignac, Gibbs and others on the complex inorganic acids and their derivatives, a large number of these compounds have been prepared and studied. By far the greater number are salts whose acid portion is composed of molybdic or tungstic trioxide in coinbination with acid oxides of the type R,O, or RO, and with a base of the type RO or R,O.
