Abstract: For the dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(dual-PMSM), the deadtime can introduce fifth and seventh current harmonics, and they are only constrained by the small stator leakage impedance, which means even if there are only small fifth and seventh voltage harmonics, the resulting fifth and seventh current harmonics will be very large.
