Abstract: The trypsin digestion and bleaching method for studying the vasculature and myelinated nerves of the pig iris was described in an earlier paper (Saari 1971a). With this method, the myelinated nerves stained dark purple and became distinctly visible. Blood vessels stained pale purple but capillaries were not visualised.
