Numerical Investigation of PPCI Combustion at Low and High Charge Stratification Levels

Abstract: The authors need to carefully proofread their manuscript for grammatical errors. The articles "a" , "an" and "the" are either missing or unnecessarily inserted throughout the paper. A few examples include: Abstract, 1st sentence:insert "the" before 'low temperature combustion' (also, a note on capitalization-even though the abbreviation is capitalized, the full words are not) Abstract, 3rd sentence:insert "the" between 'lowers' and 'rate of heat release' Introduction, 1st sentence:delete 'been' and insert "a" … Show more

“…Moreover, it is also well established that the prediction of air-fuel mixing can be more accurate with a spray-oriented mesh having radial alignment to the spray axis. 39,40 Furthermore, with conical type mesh, though the mesh size is larger close to the cylinder wall boundaries, the fine mesh generated at the vicinity of the injector nozzle could ensure accurate prediction of spray break-up and evaporation of liquid fuel droplets. 41…”

“…At the same time, the research results also evaluated the fuel properties and engine load that affect the number of emissions released. Amin and colleagues [110] experimented with and simulated the LTC combustion process on a CI engine. Two high and low air and fuel mixture stratification cases were experimentally conducted using early (SOI -80ATDC) and late (SOI -40ATDC) injection timing.…”
