Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Three-Dimensional Flow in Combined Protective Canister Filters

Abstract: This work deals with the numerical and experimental investigation of flow in the protective filters which combine fibrous pleats and the absorbent cartridge. The flow through the complete 3D geometry of all parts of the filters, including complex geometry of the pleats, is numerically modeled using high-quality computational grids.
