Numerical Analysis of Thermal Friction Stir Weld-ing (FSW) Application in Aerospace Industry

Abstract: In this work, Friction Stir Welding (FSW) of 2017A-T451 aluminum alloy for a constant tool rotational speed 1250 rpm is investigated and analyzed. 3D numerical simulation has been carried out with the aid of ANSY code.
