Abstract:We have identified and sequenced a region of the Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) genome encoding the major polyhedron-derived virus structural glycoprotein gp4l. The open reading frame is located entirely within the AcMNPV SstII-M fragment. The protein sequence does not have hydrophobic regions characteristic of integral membrane proteins and contains a putative 0-linked GlcNAc glycosylation site. gp4l is expressed as a late gene, with transcripts starting within two consensus late t…
scite is a Brooklyn-based startup that helps researchers better discover and evaluate scientific articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by researchers from dozens of countries and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
