Abstract: We have identified and sequenced a region of the Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) genome encoding the major polyhedron-derived virus structural glycoprotein gp4l. The open reading frame is located entirely within the AcMNPV SstII-M fragment.
